107,917 Positions Overnight…It Does Work!
If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I don;t think I would have believed it my self. Like everyone else over the past few days, Ii was sent an email outlining a way to increase my sites position with spending a dime. Given these promises in the past only to find that it was usually tied to some black hat type of stuff, I have to say I didn’t give this announcement much faith to be honest.
So like a great deal of others, I decided to give it a chance and set to trying it out on my site. My original domain was created in 2003 but has not been used for any type of business since 2007. I had purchased a bunch of domains since then and was active with them and my original domain was left dormant. I decided a couple of months ago to reactivate my original domain and start my new article and marketing site with it. At the time my ranking on Alexa was over 3,000,000 and as everyone knows had no chance of being picked up on any Google pages except maybe page 30.
Over the last few months I have been adding my posts and some of them have been sent to Ezine Articles which no doubt caused some activity and move my site up on Alexa to just over 2,000,000. I think a move of over a million is pretty good movement, maybe I am wrong but we shall soon see. So when this email about these “Authority Codes” and “The Perpetual Traffic Report” were sent out to us all, my position on Alexa was 1,631,653. That was until this morning.
I was trying to do to many things at one time yesterday and only got 7 back links. A couple of PR6′s and a few more PR3′s and 4′s. I really did not expect anything to happen as I was pinging them as instructed. This actually took place last night around 11 PM Mountain time, so to have the following movement in just under 9 hours, I have to say is pretty amazing. I moved from position 1,631,653 to 1,523,736 in just over 9 hrs. That is an Alexa move of 107,917 positions! I am pretty impressed by this and I will taking a bit more time today and adding at least the 10 back links that is recommended. I think I will try 15 just to be on the safe side.
I would love to here some feed back on this post from anyone that has tried it or is skeptical about this back linking process…
